Dear Sharon, John, Mary and the entire Mitchell Family.
Learning of Greg’s passing brought sadness to our home but sadness that passed quickly, replaced by all the wonderful memories of our times spent together.
We were « dog friends » with Greg and the too few days spent with him we’re filled with stories and laughter as we walked the gallery watching Spaniels compete.
Greg was a big man with a big heart....whose passing has left a big hole in our hearts..
You are all in our prayers....take care.

Dear Sharon, John, Debbie, and all Family members:
Mary and I were sorry to hear the sad news of Greg’s Passing.
Words of condolences seem so inadequate at such a sad time in your lives. If we believe what we’re taught, then there is some consolation in knowing Greg is now in a better place we know as Heaven, with Brother Father Michael, and his Mom & Dad.
You Sharon, and all the family, must have some great memories of the fun and laughter you all shared sometime in your lives with Greg. He was a good man in every respect, and will be sorely missed by all who really knew him.
Someday we’ll all be together again, and all will be beautiful. We are firm believers in prayer.
We’re sorry we’re unable to attend the Mass, and reception today, due to previously scheduled appointments.
We want you to know our thoughts, and prayers, are with you, and the Family at this sad time, our sincere condolences to all. We are:
Mary and Ray Hill Dartmouth N,S,

I had the great pleasure of working with Greg at Service Nova Scotia. He was a very conscientious, fair minded public servant who led by example. Greg could always be relied upon to do the right thing no matter how challenging the situation and was highly regarded by all his colleagues. A true gentleman.
My sincere condolences to all of Greg’s family and friends.

To Sharon and family, Very sorry for your loss. Greg was a great public servant, and could always be counted on in tough situations. He shared his wealth of free dog advice when asked, and we had many laughs over my training attempts. He will be missed.

I shared the spaniel life with Greg. I was with him at many trials across the country as he drove around with John and Dicky and i was with him when he won the National and shared with him that proud moment in his trialing career,
I always loved being with him - he was a keen competitor but also congratulated others when they did well. As well he loved his dogs and never stopped talking about Ruckus and Boss - who were indeed super animals of our breed and earned his praise. I have missed him from the circuit for the past few years and our sport will miss him greatly in the future.
My condolences to you and your children.

So sad to hear of Greg's passing. I always enjoyed talking to him as he made me feel so comfortable. I'm sure he was like that with everyone. I didn't see Greg often but when I did he was always so enthusiastic. Such a genuine person. I will forever remember his passionate stories of hunting and field trials.
