Celebration of Life
Obituary of Beulah Irene Victoria Newman (Francis)
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to say good-bye to our Queen B, or Boo as called by her brother Murray. Mom loved her colony of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and most recently her great-great granddaughter, and we all loved her to the moon and back. She will always be remembered as Nanny Newman to most people who met her. She made the most amazing peanut butter cookies that everyone tried to get their hands on. She would never turn down a social function or a chance to dance the night away. She is predeceased by her parents William Austin Francis and Mary Belle (McInnis) Francis, her husband Sam Newman, her oldest son, Robert Newman, sisters, Mildred, Mae and Margaret (Peggy) and brothers, Earl and Art. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Judy) Newman, Linda (Guy) Bernier, Paul Newman, Sharon (Dan) Briand and Kathy (Mark) Hartlen, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter, as well as her brother, Murray (Marie) Francis. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, at Acadia Hall, 650 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the Cancer Society in memory.of our beloved Nanny Newman.
