Bill and Rachel,
My condolences, on behalf of myself, Mom and Dad. We were saddened to hear of Pat's passing. It was lovely to read that she was able to cared for in your beautiful home at the end. As a childhood neighbour my memories of 'Mrs. Currie' was that she was always a class act, she was beautiful, kind and full of energy. Her presence in the neighbourhood will be missed. Our thoughts are with you and all of the family and friends who are missing Pat.

I have been fortunate to have known Pat Currie since I was probably 7 years old in Birch Cove as she was a lovely lifelong friend of my Mother's. She was such a radiant and positive person who easily put people at ease right away with her kind smile and magical laugh. She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever encountered, and I will never forget how kind she was to myself and my brothers Ted, Brian and David. Rest in peace Beautiful Lady, I will think of you when we visit Green Bay xo

I remember Pat during her years as a nurse at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre, where we worked together in outpatient clinics. She was an excellent nurse, always calm, always kind, always with a smile for patients, their families and the other members of the rehab team.

Hi Bill and Rachel.
I'm thinking of you and the loss of beautiful Pat. We worked together in the Halifax Branch, Victorian Order of Nurses. We were a happy group and had lots of fun together in all kinds of weather and family situations.
It is wonderful that you carried out her wishes to be at home. May she rest in peace.
With sympathy,
