I was very sad to hear about Cousin Arthur. He was such a great storyteller and one of my father’s favourite people to visit with in summers at Shortts Lake. Cousin Arthur even drove to Halifax (one of his least favourite activities) to visit with my dad along with Robert and David Nichols. They had a grand time reminiscing. My mother, Helen Earle (nee Nichols), Helen Nichols and Authur all passes away within a month of each other. Please pass on our condolences to Cousin Paulie. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Nichols' passing. Even after working for him for 24 years, he will always be Mr. Nichols to me. He was a kind and knowledgeable man and someone I had great respect for. I am very sorry for your loss.

John, my memories of your Mom and Dad go way back to the time your family stayed at the Murray's cottage, and then the years of having the little cottage out front while your grandparents had the newer cottage in the back. John and Family, So very sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing.As we discussed one day at the lake ,I first meant your Dad at the Dental office where I worked.Seems we didn’t have much to talk about until ,I shared about a property we purchased on Angevine Lake ,then I got to hear about some of his memories of time spent there and his beautiful retreat on the lake. John, Paulie and family. Rob and I want to offer our sincere condolences to you all. I have been keeping in touch with your Dad after we moved back to Ontario. I always enjoyed his newsy emails and updates on Paulie and the family. We will miss him.
