Obituary of Glenda Marie Smith
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Glenda Marie (O’Sullivan) Smith, age 58, formerly of Lower Sackville. Glenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob Smith, son Damian (Kyla) Smith, daughter Stacey (John Campbell) Smith, granddaughter Nova, and her grandson Ryder.
Glenda was always a kind and caring person, she was a lover of all animals, and will be greatly missed by her precious pups Maggie and Lucy. Glenda worked at Purolator Courier, where she made many lasting friendships and touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Glenda was a hard worker, an excellent mother, and an amazing grandmother. The love she had for Damian and Stacey was immeasurable, but nothing brought her greater joy than the love she had for her grandchildren. The world has lost a loving, compassionate, kind-hearted woman.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley (Hire) O’Sullivan; mother and father in-law, Jim and Barb Smith; her sisters, Debbie (Len George) Ross, Cathy (Reg) Oake, Sandra (Larry) Marchand; brother, Dennis (Michelle) O’Sullivan; sisters-in-law, Donna (Gary) Burgess, Sandy Smith, Debbie (Mike) Smith and Brenda Smith; brother-in-law, Jim (Joanne) Smith; long time best-friend, Mary Anne (Andy) Robinson, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Glenda was predeceased by her father, Thomas O’Sullivan and sister-in-law, Cara Smith.
There will be a celebration of life held at her home in Princeport on December 4th. Guests will be welcome all day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or an animal shelter of your choice.
