Oh my, I will never forget the laughs and the good times we shared at McLeod Place in Edmonton. We treasure the visit with you when we were on vacation in Halifax. Peter always encouraged our antics
( which he could not control even if he had wanted to ). There was no stopping us when we had a mind to pull some crazy stunts! Oh the good old days! We were thrilled to be invited to Sarah, Brian and Jayce's house where we were treated to a heavenly lobster dinner. Thank you for hosting such a magnificent dinner. We will forever cherish your friendship and the happy times we shared. God's speed my friend. May you rest in peace without pain! Love you, Ruth.

Peter, Sarah, and family, I am so sorry to learn of Ruth’s passing. I have such fond memories of a younger Ruth around the house with Carol either heading out or just getting back from another day of fun or weekend camping trip. Ruth lived and laughed every day. There were no strangers in her life only friends and once she claimed you as a friend that friendship remained steadfast. I shall treasure my memories of Ruth always. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Back in the early 70's I often bumped into Ruth! She lived on Mumford Road + I lived on what was then Hemlock Ave! We always had a little chat and a laugh!
Years past and I often would think of Ruth wondering such things as....Is she still in Halifax??
Last yearI happily found her on F.B! We chatted again on messenger and became F.B friends! So nice to connect with her after all those years!
A great spirit she was!

My beautiful friend you will be missed. I remember how we first met you thought I was a goody two shoes lol. The Times we have had together and the adventures we have shared have been amazing. Some of my favourite memories are our camping trips. Especially the one at your aunt Ruth’s cottage. Our amazing fires and talks out in your backyard (when Cathy grabbed the box of Peter’s expensive wood and almost burned it lol) my most favourite memory though was the day I brought Mya over and she started chasing Cinder and Ebony. And then Ebony faked passing out so Mya would leave her alone. We had thought Ebony had taken a heart attack up until the point when Ebony opened one eye to look around and make sure Mya was gone. There are so many other amazing memories I have of you. Thank goodness for memories and pictures. Thank goodness for Peter putting up with all our shenanigans. May you find peace wherever you may be. May you be riding a motorcycle pain-free while feeling the open wind on your body. I will miss you my friend. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for your friendship.
