My condolences to Jean’s family. She was my supervisor when I started my first job at Guardian Ins in Jan 1974. She was a great person; she taught me you could work hard and still have fun. She always greeted us with a smile.

Our condolences to Jeans family .I started at Guardian in 1973 and Jean was my supervisor and friend .Many Friday nights were spent at the Fireman’s Club where my hubby and your Dad often joined us .Many nights spent parting on Vieth St .Jean and Jimmy were very special people and I know they are together now singing The Platters songs at the top of their lungs .Rest in peace my friends .

I started working for Guardian Insurance in July 1974. Jean was my supervisor, starting in the filing department and she was truly a wonderful, kind woman. I can still see her holding her cigarette, like a real lady ( my grandmother did the same thing ) and a glass of beer in the other. These were on the occasions that the staff of the Guardian would go out at lunchtime ( Split Crow ). Many laughs and stories. We also had wonderful times celebrating occasions ( Saint Patricks Day, Managers Breakfast, Christmas ). These were just a few of many. It was a sad day when Jean retired but also another day to have an excuse to go to the Split Crow and have a few ( or more ). May you rest in peace Jean.

Sending deepest condolences to all of Jeans family from me, Cecil Holt and my wife Susan. My first job at Guardian Ins was working with Jean. She had the most fun loving approach to life. Back then I enjoyed the many discussions and laughs we had playing cards in the lunch room before work. Jean and Jimmy were the best partyers and everyone at Guardian loved them.
Our ( best thoughts of Jean) are with you at this time. Take care.
