Eric and family,
Even though we had loss touch over the years ,I still think of Cheryl as being one of my best friends in High school.We had many fun times together and I have lots of wonderful memories from those days. I'm so saddened to learn of her untimely passing.Each of us have a journey and I know from the tributes Cheryl was loved very much through her journey and had a lot of life in her 68 years.I wish all of you comfort and peace in the coming days as you reflect over your lives together.Sending my heartfelt condolences at this very sad time.

Eric and family, so saddened to hear of Cheryl’s passing. The family was the joy of her life, always a story and picture to share. I fondly remember her kindness and in our younger days the long talks and laughs and food we shared at the old Gondola restaurant in Halifax. Cheryl will be missed.

To Eric, Terry and Alison,
Words can never express the degree of sadness we feel at the passing of your beautiful wife, mother and grandmother. We got to know Cheryl when she so graciously entrusted me to be the caregiver for Terry, her one year old baby boy. She was overjoyed at being a mom to this blond haired little treasure and couldn’t contain her excitement when the work day was done and she could come home and spend time with him. The same was true when her precious daughter Alison was born. The love she had for these two children was more than obvious.. her heart was full and it showed on her face. She had a great love and respect for Eric as well and it was plain to see they were always there for each other.
Cheryl also adored her parents and her brothers. Family meant everything to her and she made sure they knew it.
Your lives will be forever changed after this great loss but we pray you’ll find comfort in each other, laughter in your memories, and most of all.. peace in the presence of God as you look to Him for healing from your grief.

You were the best Aunt I could ever ask for. You always embraced me with the biggest hugs and kisses whenever I saw you, no matter how much time had passed. You always remembered my birthday and I still have all the pajamas that you've bought me for Christmas, and all the cards as well. You were an amazing cook, holiday dinners at your house were always so warm and full of love. You helped take care of me and treated me like your own daughter when I first moved out on my own. Eric, Allyson, Terry Hutchings and family, Aunt Ruth, Terry, Shane, relatives and friends,
Our hearts are truly saddened as we realize that our precious loved one, Cheryl, is no longer with us.
