I met Jerry when in hospital late October 2023.
We instantly connected sharing our family stories as she watched out for me as my guiding light.
A delightful connection especially as we chuckled on me being from Spryfield.
I was saddened to the core to find out that she passed as we were planning on sharing a cup of coffee together!
Condolences to all!
Sincere sympathy and caring,
Carole Scallion

Brian, Corey and Family,
Jerry was your beautiful wife, your loving mother and your amazing sister, and you shared her with all of us. Thank you. She was truly a gift.
We were the most unlikely duo to become friends, but we truly were. We had a lot of fun over the years. Dancing, singing, laughing, going to the old Tims’s until the late hours after dancing all night, giving anyone who dared to sit in our favourite spot the stink eye until they moved, helping a friend deliver newspapers in the middle of the night and then getting takeout afterwards, laughing at each other’s music choices, telling each other to check out a new series on Netflix, binge watching a Netflix show in one day, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and weddings, acknowledging successes and losses in our lives, and so much more.
Jerry was a lifelong friend to me, and I will miss her forever.

Brian & Family; We first met Jerry, when Marg & Rick lived across the street from us.On the first meeting, you instantly knew that she was an happy soul & spread her great humour. We hadn't seen her for a number of years, until she came to one of our dances, & as it turned out ( surprise to her),one of her Island Boys, was playing with the band that day. We know she will be dearly missed, by all who were lucky enough to have her in their life. Sincere condolences Jack & Mary Manley

I only knew Jerry for a short time but loved spending time with her and she kept me laughing . She was a joy to be around. One Halloween I asked her to meet up at Jenny’s , she said … too late , I’m in my pj’s. I said me too! So we both met up wearing pj’s and had a ball and sooo comfy! Jerry, I love you!! See you again, my friend.

I can't even believe I am posting this.
She was not only my sister, she was my best friend, we did so much together and having a huge whole in my heart is an understatement.
From when I was a little girl, she took me everywhere she went, from camping, to the beach, for drives and even to her in-laws. She never left me out.
As we got older it never changed, we were always together. I would always get the call "What's Up, what are you doing today"? And never failed we were going somewhere and doing something.
Our most fun time was going for drives in my mini-cooper convertible. I would put the top down, she would crank the music and sing to the top of her lungs. Oh and if we came to someone walking, of course she would say "What's up". Of course they would smile and she would be so happy that she made them smile.
Her favorite thing to do on the weekend, was for me to pick her up and go see the Island Boys play, her favorite band.
My sister is going to be so deeply missed, I can't even imagine.
Love you Sis
Cathy

Jerry was one of my greatest friends. We sure did have lots of good times as going for long drives..especially to Mahone Bay and Queensland. She made sure I knew all the "hot spots" in NS. We had lots of fun at dances and singing karaoke. She loved to sing and we all loved to hear her. I will miss her hearty laugh and sense of humor. This is not goodbye. We will meet again someday God willing.♥️♥️♥️
