Obituary of Randall Chisholm Cane

Age 62, of Eastern Passage, passed away on December 17, 2020 at home. He was the son of the late G. Thomas Cane and Clarita (Chisholm) Cane of Cole Harbour.

He is survived by his wife, Jayne (Keddy) Cane; daughter, Rebecah; brother, Tim (Shannon); sisters, Jody Hogan (Ed), Terri White, Leah Beazley (Vince), Tracy Stymest (Claude) and several nieces and nephews. 

Randy worked in the HVAC industry for many years, but his heart could be found at the camp with his fishing and hunting buddies.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Maritime Cremation Centre, Lower Sackville. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Randy’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Donations in memory of Randy can be made to the Nova Scotia Nature Trust, 81 Prince Albert Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1M1. 

The family would like to acknowledge the “camp” boys for their support and friendship in fulfilling Randy’s wishes to remain at home.  A special thank you to Patsy Keddy and Melissa Pepper for being there to care for Randy, your help through this difficult time was greatly appreciated. 

In closing Randy aka “The Mayor” would end any conversation with his famous last words …… “Over and Out.”
