Heartfelt condolences are extended to Arnold, Heather and all bereaved. Dear Lord I am reluctant to start ...... for I know I'll conclude with an empty heart.
I fondly recall my youth growing up in St. Peters and the beautiful girl with the smiling eyes. Bev was my sister Mary's best friend during those precious years. In brief, she was the sunshine. Whether at dances, swimming in the canal, at school or skating on Thompson's pond, her presence was always heart warming. I recall her beautiful voice when singing with Gord Neiforth, Judy Pottie, Sylvia Adams ( and other classmates ) beyond the wall in the SPHS gym.
Mrs MacEwan, our music teacher, had an unique talent for encouraging harmony from young voices. Songs like The Mill, Lovely Venice and Were I A Bird were some of the most beautiful harmonies I had ever heard. St. Peters has lost one of it's most precious daughters. Such special memories will not come again. May God rest Bev's soul. ( Joe Stone )
